LCD Soundsystem Reno Concert reviews
Can someone explain to me...
"...why anyone on Earth would sit there and talk continuously at Volume 10, only to pay over $100 a ticket to go to a concert? Rude to the performers and everyone else crammed into the seats around them, the two loud-mouths behind us took it up another 2-3 notches when the music got louder. After countless dirty looks and staring (none of which had any impact), my girlfriend and I went and stood up against a railing behind our section. What a relief to actually be able to enjoy the music! He showed us where we could stand, and we actually started enjoying the concert. Then, after about five minutes, he motioned us to follow him, and he lead us down to the center aisle, and gave us two seats on the aisle, 10 rows from the stage! My girlfriend asked one of the ushers where we could stand, so we'd be out of the way, telling him how the rude asses that were sitting behind us were ruining the show for us. The concert that started out absolutely sucking entirely due to the rude behavior of a couple of idiots in Section 11 kept getting better and better. LCD Soundsystem and their band played for at least two hours, covered many of their hits, as well as much of their latest album. They were great in person, and their band was wonderful. They get an A, the staff at the Mountain Winery gets an A+, and certain members of the crowd should be flunked and expelled."
